Details

Hue: A deep turquoise-blue. Officially described as a bright turquoise, but on my swatches it reads bluer and deeper than that, especially in the swab bar and in writing, with only a hint of turquoise at the edges.

Shading: Moderate. Light-to-dark variation is visible in the swab bar and in writing, though the sheen often takes over in heavier ink.

Sheen: Heavy. On my swatches this is a strong burgundy to magenta-pink sheen that covers much of the pooled ink and shows up in ordinary handwriting. Some sources describe the sheen as black. On Tomoe River Paper mine is clearly red-pink.

Shimmer: None.

Flow: Wet.

The interesting bit: One of three inks KWZ released in late 2017 to mark Polish Independence Day. The Vistula is Poland's longest river, and it flows through Warsaw. The label shows Warsaw's Świętokrzyski Bridge, a cable-stayed bridge over the river that has a footpath running across it, which gives the "walk" in the name. KWZ is a small family-run ink maker in Poland, founded by chemist Konrad Żurawski and his wife Agnieszka.

This is a hand-decanted 4ml sample vial from my own bottle. Photos are my own swatches on Tomoe River Paper. I'm a collector and I'm always happy to talk ink, so please message me if you have any questions.
