Details
Hue: A muted, mossy sage green. Officially described as a dark green, but in my swatches it writes as a softer mid green and only goes dark where it pools. Some retailers mention it separating to yellow; mine separates towards a deep blue-teal instead.
Shading: Medium. Clear light-to-dark variation in writing, with strong chromatic separation in heavier swabs, where a dark blue-teal edge forms around a pale sage centre.
Sheen: None.
Shimmer: None.
Flow: Dry
The interesting bit: Seaweed was made for "A Log of Atlantis", the first set in Dominant Industry's Ink Archiving Book series, based on the myth of the city that sank into the sea. It represents the dark seaweed around the lost city and was paired with Atlantis, a shimmering blue pearl ink. It is made in small batches in Paju, South Korea. The brand takes its name from the idea of a "dominant colour", the one that leads a palette.
