Details
Hue: Andhand describe a calm, leafy green inspired by a hilltop wood. My swatches show a more saturated green than "calm" suggests: a mid green in writing, deepening to a dark pine green with a slight teal lean where it pools. The official description doesn't mention sheen, but it shows clearly on my swatches.
Shading: Moderate. There's clear light-to-dark variation in swabs, and it's subtle in handwriting.
Sheen: Burgundy-red, strongest at the edges of heavy pools and where strokes overlap. I can't see it in normal handwriting on my sample.
Shimmer: None.
Flow: Medium.
The interesting bit: Andhand is an independent British pen and stationery brand founded in 2021 around a "buy once" philosophy. Its ink line is just three colours, each named for a scene: Tunnel Black, Waterfall Blue and Forest Hill Green. This is the woodland one, and the label shows it as a green hill covered in stylised conifers. British made.
