Details
Hue: A deep cherry red that moves between bright raspberry-pink in thin areas and dark plum-burgundy where it pools. There's no detailed official colour description, but the name and the label art suggest a brown cola red. My swatches are pinker and more purple-leaning than that, with no real brown to them.
Shading: Clear shading, from bright pink-red in lighter strokes to dark cherry at the pooling points.
Sheen: Heavy olive-gold to green sheen. It covers large areas of the swabs and shows on the edges of ordinary handwriting too, so it isn't only visible in heavy pools.
Shimmer: None.
Flow: Medium
The interesting bit: Sailor made this for BlueBlack, a pen and ink shop in Seoul, as part of their Drink Series of inks named after drinks. The bottle carries the Korean name 체리콕 ("cherry coke") alongside a cherry-topped glass of cola. It's a very good match for cherry cola, right down to the fizz of green-gold sheen on top.
