On Tomoe River my swatches read as clearly purple-leaning: a muted lilac-mauve in the writing and swab bar, with cool slate and a hint of green-grey gathering at the edges of the drops. No tan at all on this paper. Worth knowing this ink genuinely does shift by paper, nib and drying time, so your results may differ from mine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eShading: \u003c\/strong\u003eHigh. Seki is written 夕, the kanji for evening or dusk, and sits in Yurameku I, the first set of nine inks, which took its inspiration from the sky.
