Described as a dusty mauve pink with subtle burgundy undertones. He and his partner Qian Li Yan, the Thousand-Mile Eye, guard Mazu, the sea goddess, and stand beside her in temples across Taiwan. One legend says they were two demons who fought Mazu for her hand in marriage, lost, and swore to serve her instead. This ink is from Lennon Tool Bar's Guardian Beasts Vol. 3, alongside Qian Li Yan, Hu Ye and Shen Long. The brand was founded in Tamsui, Taiwan, in 2014 to promote the island's indigo dyeing tradition.

This is a hand-decanted 4ml sample vial from my own bottle.
Photos are my own swatches on Tomoe River Paper.
I'm a collector and I'm always happy to talk ink, so please message me if you have any questions.

https://thepensmuggler.co.uk/products/lennon-tool-bar-guardian-beasts-shun-feng-er-4ml-fountain-pen-ink-sample-vial
