It moves from pale periwinkle to deep indigo in the swabs, with gentle light-to-dark variation in the written line.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSheen:\u003c\/strong\u003e Heavy. A red-magenta to burgundy metallic sheen covers large areas of the swabs, edges the dip-pen line, and is strong enough to turn parts of my handwriting burgundy-purple. Andhand don't mention sheen, so this comes from my swatches alone. They're better known for machined metal pens made on a \"buy once\" philosophy. Waterfall Blue is one of their British-made inks, alongside Tunnel Black and Forest Hill Green. The name is meant to suggest the layered depth of falling water, and the box and label carry a stylised waterfall with birds overhead.
